What is Bar OA ? A name that reflects the cattle
brand used by my Grandfather back in the old days
here in Southeast, Nebraska. This was in an era when
things were simpler and folks took the time to enjoy
the great outdoors
Having hunted my Grandfathers farm as a youth, I
learned not only the habits of the Upland Game,
Waterfowl and Deer I hunted but also the "Honey
Holes" in where to find them day in and day out
With these experiences in mind, I have designed our
guided hunts to reflect those same traditions that I
grew up with. Honesty, integrity, down home
hospitality and knowledge of the game you are after
To further increase my ability to provide you with a
guided hunt you never forget, I brought along side
Dale Taylor as a partner. Dale and his wife Kris, own
and operate Premier Gundogs Training Kennel,
located just 10 minutes away from the areas we hunt.
He not only brings years of experience with dogs but is
a top waterfowl and upland guide. Together, we have
built Bar OA Hunts into one of Nebraska's top guiding
services with over 1,800 acres of the finest land
available in our area.
BAR OA hunts is located in Gage county, Southeast
Nebraska roughly 25 miles south of Lincoln and about
20 miles north of Beatrice. Both cities boast very clean
affordable motels/hotels, restaurants, shopping
centers, fuel, Airports, etc.
Bird cleaning, freezing and storage allow you to relax
after the hunt each day.
Trophy birds for mounting will be handled with care.
